A tree near the State Capitol was full of color which feel onto the fresh snow and brought the contrast of the seasons into light

As I was walking the Airport Dike Trail

and the number of people you see being counted on two hands however it is quite magnificent

After a day of snowshoeing up the road I was heading back and stopped at the west end of Lake McDonald just after sunset. As the night settled in I captured the quiet winter evening in the park which is quite different then being there in the summer.
