Remember, last week we showed you the new Aston Martin? Then we say that this is the new Aston Martin DB9, but Car Magazine believes that this is the next generation of Aston Martin DBS.
This week, Autocar representatives learned that the secret compartment of Aston Martin will enter the market with a 6.0-liter V-12, developing about 590 horsepower.
The car will receive a new eight -speed ZF gearbox, which differs in high performance and excellent fuel economy.
Although few would call the current DBS low -power (550 horsepower), but the increase in 40 “horses” for the flagship car looks, to put it mildly, fantastically.
On the other hand, a power of 550 horsepower will mean that DB9 is more powerful for as many as 80 “horses”, which sounds more reasonable (this confirms our assumptions that we look at the next DB9, and not at the next DBS).
Of course, there is a chance that we are wrong and the car is really new Aston Martin DBS. If so, then Aston Martin DB9 is the biggest secret in the automotive world. Unless, of course, Aston Martin plans to release a new DB9.
