At the Auto Show in Geneva, representatives of Mitsubishi present two Kara concepts at once: one hybrid, and the second electric car. The car manufacturer said this in official form, also providing tonsors of new products.
One of the electric concepts will be the five-door CA-MIEV hatchback. Despite the fact that the technical details about the novelty have not yet been disclosed that there is information that the machine will be able to “conquer” almost 300 km without recharging. Such an impressive result was possible thanks to the latest power source and modernized aerodynamics. The company hopes that this car will make it possible to significantly increase demand and stimulate the development trend of electric vehicles.
Another novelty from Mitsubishi, which will be shown to Motorshow in Geneva, will be the GR-Hev hybrid. Its main feature is the presence of the most modern hybrid technology – Hev. Such an engineering solution includes the diesel power plant Clean Diese and electric motors. At the same time, this design is much cheaper and more accessible to models such as: PHEV and EV. In addition, GR-HeV makes it possible to significantly reduce emissions of CO2 to 149 g/km, which is almost 30% less than the number of ICE emissions.
It should be noted that at the moment, in our country, Mitsubishi implements only one electric machine-the city compact model I-MIEV. The cost of this car is 1 million. 799 thousand. rub. Last year, almost 50 units of I-MIEV have been sold.
