Cash registers

July 5, 2018

Representatives of the older generation remember ordinary Soviet stores, where the aunt-salesman weighed the goods on the scales, then counted its cost in the accounts, and the buyer after such mathematical actions paid for the purchase right there, for which he heard the next!”.

The cash registers appeared in our stores, of course, even under the Union, but they have not become obligatory for each outlet of the point of time and have become so long ago.

According to the strict law 54-F3, each business entity is obliged to produce cash settlements with customers through cash registers. At the same time, the latter must be registered before starting work. And during operation it will also be checked by the competent authorities. The absence of cash registers at any outlet leads to the accrual of fines.

By the way, the same strict law on the application of the CCP states that the buyer must be issued a check in any case. It pays in cash or through a plastic card. All this technique can conditionally be divided into 4 subspecies.

1. Cash registers with an active system. We are talking about those devices that not only work as part of a single computer chain of the store, but also have the ability to manage this system.

2. KKM with a passive system. Working as part of the network, the device can not affect the management of it.

3. Autonomous cashier. She issues checks, has in her database a certain sales history. This is where its functions are exhausted.

4. Fiscal registrar. For its work, you need a certain communication channel. He can receive and transmit data only as part of a certain network.

Cash registers, depending on where they are used, come with a compartment for money and without. In large retail outlets, such as supermarkets, cashier machines with an electronic cash box are used. For example, an analogue of foreign, Russian apparatus OKO-102K is equipped with a remote power supply. Has 8 commodity sections, fiscal memory for more than 3,000 records. Automatically calculates the total cost after scanning bar – codes. The cash box opens only when the cashier approves the final amount for payment. Can work without failures at temperatures from -20 to +50 degrees Celsius.

Portable CCP is much lighter and fewer inpatient. They are convenient for use in road transport, are indispensable in sales in market tents. Their functionality, first of all, is that there are sufficiently powerful batteries that allow you to work without recharging during a whole working day. Cash memory can be from 2000 sales to 5000. Weight, for example, such as Mercury-180 K, no more than 500 grams.

The use of machines capable of remembering sales stories is beneficial, first of all, to the owner of the outlet. So he has the opportunity to track commodity-money relations in his absence. The devices are convenient for financial reports and, of course, for checking structures. As a rule, high -quality KKMs have no problems in work and, purchased in solid firms, are served there for free or with discounts.
