Features of eyelash extensions: used materials and techniques

January 10, 2019

Eyelash extensions are a popular beauty service that allows you to emphasize the beauty of the eye and make the look more expressive. Different types of materials and techniques are used in the procedure, which we will discuss in more detail later.

The main types of materials

The essence of the beauty procedure is to increase the density of eyelashes by gluing artificial fibers to them. They are made of synthetic material – micropoliastyrol threads. They release artificial cilia of three types:

“Mink” – light and matte, look natural and do not weight eyes. You can create any volume, suitable for most women.

“Sable” – voluminous and lush, are used to create a theatrical effect. They are not suitable for girls with thin eyelashes and small eyes due to excessive thickness.

“Silk” – universal, allowing you to create various images by modeling volume, shape and bending. Elastic cilia with glossy shine.

In order for the effect of the extension procedure to be preserved for a longer period, it is important to use high -quality materials. Masters most often choose Perfect Silk Lashes, Irisk Professional, Dolce Vita and Lovely eyelashes. Smols based on hypoallergenic formulas are used as adhesive compounds.

Applied techniques

When conducting an extension procedure, masters most often use core technique. Its essence is to glue one artificial hair to one natural. The procedure takes about 2 hours, but the result is worth it – it is possible to achieve maximum naturalness, the result persists for a long time.

Another technique – bundle extension. The master takes 6-7 artificial hairs and sticks to several natural cilia. Due to this, less time is spent on the procedure. The minus of the technique is that when the natural eyelashes fall out, the heaviness of the bundle falls on the remaining ones, which accelerates the process of their loss.

Another technique is a strip. Synthetic hairs are glued to a thin transparent shelf. The tape with resin is fixed from one corner of the eye to another. The procedure takes a minimum of time, but the result can disappoint – a non -natural appearance is created, the effect does not last long.

Conclusions

From all that has been said, it follows that it is important to choose the right synthetic materials and technology. If you want to keep your eyelashes and achieve maximum naturalness, then give preference to “mink” or “silk” and choose a core methodology.
