How to sell a broken car?

May 30, 2018

After serious accidents, car owners often think about how appropriate to restore their car. In some cases, the repair costs almost as much as the new car costs. Therefore, very many drivers are interested in the conditions on what conditions the ransom of broken cars is carried out.

Assessment of the condition of the vehicle

When accidents occur, their participants try to at least minimize their losses and not cause serious damage to the family budget. A broken car should be carefully inspected and evaluated by the seriousness of the damage. If the blow occurred along the tangent and only the body suffered, then scratches and chips on the surface can easily be eliminated. But with a frontal impact, if the geometry of the body is broken, not every workshop will agree to carry out repair work. In this case, there will be problems that are difficult to eliminate:

the car will be taken aside;

uneven wear of tires;

loose fit of the body parts;

Unpredictable behavior of the car.

It will be difficult for experienced craftsmen to eliminate these defects, and it will be dangerous to drive a damaged car on a damaged car. Therefore, the owner of the vehicle should call an expert who will calculate the cost of repairs and compare this amount with the real market price of the machine.

How to find a way out of the situation?

A broken car, in whatever condition it is, you can always sell. They can buy it:

resellers;

specialized companies;

private individuals after preliminary repair.

In the first case, sellers should not count on a favorable price, and the search for suitable options will take a lot of time and effort. The view of a broken car, of course, may confuse buyers. But for specialized companies, any purchase will be profitable. In the presence of an extensive fleet of used vehicles, they always need spare parts, and the restoration of broken cars is cheaper.

A motorist can independently order a cosmetic repair of a car, but some buyers will regard this as an attempt to hide his defects, that is, fraud. And the fear of private traders over various hidden damage is huge. But for experts and specialists, such problems do not exist. They always have a need for broken machines, body details and spare parts. With an honest approach, they will give the most profitable price that you can get for a car in this state, and both sides will be satisfied with the deal.
