The mysterious prototype of the Vantage relative was noticed on the Nürburgring highway in Germany several years ago. It is believed that this is V12 Vantage in the back of a convertible, the sales of which began at the end of 2010 in the United States.
Unfortunately, since then no one has seen anything or heard about the Aston Martin V12 Vantage Roadster.
According to reports from GT Spirit, the launch of the V12 Vantage Roadster will finally take place in 2012, which means that we will probably see a car in March at the Geneva Motor Show.
If this is true, then the V12 Vantage Roadster should be almost an identical car with a hard top, with the exception of a roof of three -layer fabric, which, like in the family of V8 Vantage, should close/open in 18 seconds.
The obvious signs that the photographs show the high -performance prototype V12 Vantage Roadster are its unique carbon parts of the body, as well as an aggressive front spoiler.
Under the hood there should be an already familiar 6.0-liter V-12 complete with 510 horsepower and 569 nm of torque. A six -speed manual gearbox should remain in the basic version, and the new automatic TouchTronic will be offered as an option.
