Today is Torsten Müller-Oss, the general director of Rolls-Royce, finally admitted that the company is considering the possibility of the release of the crossover.
In an interview with Bloomberg, Müller-Ossa said: “We are seriously thinking about entering the SUV segment”. He called this market segment “very interesting” and “incredibly stable during the crisis”. The top manager believes that the luxury niche will develop in the coming years.
The car reportedly is in the early stages of development: designers are still creating sketches. After they are ready, the company’s management will appreciate them before deciding whether a crossover is suitable for a car that is perfect for rental, under the concept of a brand.
Recall that earlier there was information according to which the SUV from Rolls-Royce can be built if the green light for serial production will receive the BMW X7 crossover, which should be founded by its basis.
