Skoda tests Octavia Combi RS, whose debut is scheduled at the end of this year.
The third generation of Octavia has already been on sale in some countries. Therefore, it is logical that the Czech car manufacturer works on the “hot” version of RS.
Our photographers-spions managed to track down a test prototype in the station wagon. Recall that yesterday we presented you pictures of the “civilian” version of the practical Octavia Combi.
In different from the usual version, the RS modification will receive large alloy wheels, enlarged front air intakes, two exhaust pipes and a small spoiler in the rear.
The most significant change will be the 2.0-liter TFSI engine with a turbocharger, which the Czech automaker will be borrowed from the upcoming Golf VII GTI.
The output capacity of the new item will be about 220 liters.With. (164 kW), and its torque will be equal to 350 nm.
Skoda Octavia RS will most likely be presented in September at the Frankfurt Auto Show and will go on sale shortly after.
