The history of rhinoplasty

May 14, 2018

The earliest rinoplasty operations were performed in ancient times in the sovereigns of India, Arabia, as well as in Persia.

Description of rhinoplasty operations, found in the ancient Indian manuscript “Susrutasayurveda”. At that time, Indian surgeons had significant success in relation to sterility, which was respected during operations, and skill in the possession of surgical instruments. In those times, surgeons successfully performed operations on the nose, lips and ear shells, which were absent, due to loss in battle or for other reasons.

In rhinoplasty, to restore the nose, the skin of the cheek was used. Then the transplant was taken from the frontal zone. The disadvantage of such operations was the obvious presence of the scar where the skin was removed. A similar technique of rhinoplasty was mastered by many Indian surgeons, which was always improved. Today, nasal plastic surgery rhinoplasty is very popular.

The British J.Finze, etc.Crucked the course of the rinoplasty operation, which was observed in Bombay in 1494. Lukass military surgeon learned rhinoplasty and subsequently repeatedly performed operations on Indian technology.
