Hydrophilic oils
Hydrophilic oil is a special product that can be an excellent alternative to tonics, foams and gels for washing. Hydrophilic oil is ideal for people, first of all, with sensitive and dry skin. However, it will no less beneficially affects oily and combined, and problem skin. Also, this product is able to solve the problem of acne and increased seafrotment.
What is hydrophilic oil?
In order to understand this, you need to recall school chemistry lessons. Everyone knows that oil does not dissolve in water. In order to introduce oils into the cream, an emulsifier is used. He is able to tie an oil molecule with a molecule of water. All together (oil, emulsifier and water) make up the emulsion. If only an emulsifier and oil are mixed, then it turns out nothing more than hydrophilic oil. As a result, the emulsifier molecule, which usually binds water and oil, will attract its molecules when contacting water. Thus, emulsification (t.e. the appearance of an emulsion) occurs precisely when a person washes.
How to wash with hydrophilic oil?
What are such oils good? They have simply amazing cleansing properties. No matter how absurd it sounds, but the oil phase of this product is designed to fight oily skin. The thing is that it dissolves sebaceous traffic jams in itself with which the pores are clogged (the water is simply not able to do this), and the water already fixes the cleansing effect.
By the way, hydrophilic oil can be made independently, there is nothing complicated in this. To do this, you need to stock up on the emulsifier. It is a viscous oily liquid that is obtained from vegetable fats, most often from coconut oil. The best emulsifier is polysorbate.
Hydrophilic oil
It is better to add oils to it that are best suited for a particular skin type. For fat and combined – rosehip oil, grape seed oil, hazelnut or evening primrose.
For dry and normal – oil of pumpkin seeds, jojoba or almond.
If the skin is prone to acne rashes, then it can be added to the hydrophilic oil, lemon air, tea tree oil, orange essential oil.
The skin after washing with hydrophilic oil looks perfectly purified, velvet and soft. In addition, it rarely requires additional moisturizing with cream after washing – hydrophilic oil not only cleanses, but also moisturizes.
An indisputable plus of this product is that it is completely natural, and this is a determining factor for many people.
